The Mean Green Stingray Gets a new 427

Come back soon to see the install of this little beast in Travis' '69 coupe.

The 450hp small block just wasn't enough so I found this 'built' 427 to up the ante. This engine came from a '68 Vette in Connecticut but about the only thing original left is the block. It's now home to Dart Pro 1 310cc aluminum heads, forged 11.5-1 pistons, H-beam rods, a nasty solid roller cam, Weiand Team G intake, MSD Billet distributor, a 1050cfm Dominator, CSI electric water pump, and chrome Hooker side-pipe headers. The side-pipes probably won't stay but they sure do look good sitting on the motor! Follow along as we document the installation. Coming soon is a fresh repaint and a few dress-up goodies. Once all the new parts have arrived we'll shoe horn this big baby in and go have some fun. -Travis
