| I finally pulled the trigger on some C5 seats off of eBay. They are Sport seats with power. I won't be using any of the power functions since the motors and seat rails put the seats way too high in a C3. I'm removing the tracks and fabricating some brackets to fix the seat to the floorboard as low as it'll sit. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| Here are the seats as they arrived from the shipper. See the second picture, it even came with extras! | |||||||||||||||||||||
| This is what you're dealing with when you get power seats. The motors and tracks are a bit bulky and put the seats way too high if you try to just bolt them up. Plus, the mounting holes don't line up with the C3 floor mounts. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| The original seats and bracket are a much lower profile. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| Melissa and I having a little fun. She liked my old C5 so I think she's going to like these seats too. Not sure if she'll like riding in VooDoo or if it'll put a good scare in her. We'll find out when she's old enough to ride in the front seat. | |||||||||||||||||||||
