VooDoo Rebuild C5 Seats Pg 2 TKO-600 trans Rear-end Rebuild

I finally pulled the trigger on some C5 seats off of eBay.  They are Sport seats with power.  I won't be using any of the power functions since the motors and seat rails put the seats way too high in a C3.  I'm removing the tracks and fabricating some brackets to fix the seat to the floorboard as low as it'll sit.

Here are the seats as they arrived from the shipper.  See the second picture, it even came with extras!

This is what you're dealing with when you get power seats.  The motors and tracks are a bit bulky and put the seats way too high if you try to just bolt them up.  Plus, the mounting holes don't line up with the C3 floor mounts.

The original seats and bracket are a much lower profile.

Melissa and I having a little fun.  She liked my old C5 so I think she's going to like these seats too.  Not sure if she'll like riding in VooDoo or if it'll put a good scare in her.  We'll find out when she's old enough to ride in the front seat.
